Eric Pulier is a scion of successful serial investment in the technology industry and beyond. Over the years, his portfolio of companies he founded, invested in and cofounded has ground grown tremendously. He currently has investment interests in over fifteen companies and investment funds. This excludes to the numerous philanthropic organizations that have benefited immensely from his charitable donations expertise. Education Background and Entrepreneurial Endeavors
Eric Pulier’s interest in technology and computer programming began from an early age. After high school, he pursued his professional dreams at Harvard where graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and American Literature in 1988. His studies at Harvard ran concurrently with his studies at Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he also graduated at the top of his class in 1988.
While Mr. Pulier showed a passion for technology as a teenager with the founding of his first company, he truly established a name for himself as an entrepreneur in the industry after his graduation. Improving on his first database company, he went on to found several technology startups including People Doing Things and Digital Evolution. His successful management of the company saw it merge with US Interactive LLC. Since the 1998 merger, he has founded, cofounded or invested in several startups and established companies such as ServiceMesh, Akana and Desktone among others. He has also invested in Trident Capital and Monitor Ventures among others, which are venture capitals. He serves on the board of numerous organizations including LogicLibrary, Inc. and most of the companies he founded or cofounded.
Eric Pulier has a strong passion for giving back to the community. This has seen his donate his financial resources, time and professional experience to helping the needy and supporting various causes. He helps children suffering from chronic illnesses through board membership at The Painted Turtle. He is also actively involved in solving mega problems afflicting humanity through his membership on X-Prize Foundation’s innovative board. He is also an avid podcaster who helps aspiring entrepreneurs on how to manage startups.
