Hussain Sajwani has been transforming the real estate and property development industry in the Middle East. He is one of the five billionaires coming from the UAE, and his current net worth is at $2.8 billion. He is currently serving as the chairman and the CEO of the DAMAC Properties, a company which he founded in 2002. The DAMAC Properties has become one of the most successful real estate developers in the Middle East, and they have been involved in numerous projects throughout the region. He currently enjoys success because of his hard work and determination to reach the top, and everything began with a dream.
According to Forbes.com, after he graduated from the University of Washington, Hussain Sajwani decided to go back to the UAE. He found a job as a contracts manager for GASCO, but he immediately left his post after learning about the complicated duties assigned to the job. He told himself that being an entrepreneur is the only way to success, so he opened up a catering business in 1982, serving the US Army soldiers from a nearby base and the employees at Bechtel. The catering business gave him his first millions, but he thought that he could still do better, so he ventured out in the real estate and property development firm and established DAMAC Properties.
The growth of his real estate and property development firm was unexpected. In a few years, the company has been involved in the construction of several residential and office complexes throughout the Middle East. He also had a business relationship with Donald Trump and other influential real estate business people. One of the most recent projects tackled between Hussain Sajwani and Donald Trump is the construction of the Trump World Golf Course, which will be opened later in 2018.
Aside from managing his businesses, the DAMAC Owner is also an active philanthropist. He has donated over two million AED recently to a project which aims to provide new clothes to poor children around the world. He has also given one million AED in the past for a campaign that was launched to help the refugees in Jordan and Lebanon. Instagram: @hussainsajwani

Ignatius M. Pollara hails from Tamarac Florida, and was recently arrested for stealing $2 million worth of LEGOs. Apparently he has been stealing these kids building blocks from more than just the Florida region, he has been busy lifting LEGOs from all 50 states. He ran quite a profitable business, stealing the LEGO sets from retail stores and then selling them by any means possible to make 100% profit beneful on samsclub and on the toys.
With all the money he had been raking in from the sale of the stolen LEGO sets, the convicted thief has gone on worldwide travel adventures over the years. The end to his long run as a LEGO thief came to a crashing end by way of his TOYS ‘R US rewards card. He spoke with parole officers in Florida that he planned on leaving the state to go visit family in Illinois. Knowing the convicted criminal had no family in that state, a sting operation was set-up to catch the criminal red handed.
A tail was then placed on the convict from the moment that he stepped off the airplane. He spent the better part of 4 days in Chicago staying in a motel that was close to a major shopping center. Each night, he would exit the motel and make trips back and forth to the supermarkets to pick up the needed LEGO sets. His bail was raised to $200,000 and he must wear an ankle bracelet before being allowed to leave prison.
The media has been moved by the donation that Don Thomas received by Mariana Villarreal, a waitress from Hooters, last Friday at Roswell, Ga.
Since yesterday, both Villarreal and Don are recovering from the surgery.
The transplant was a success. A gift of life is what this is considered. Don had lost both of his kidneys to cancer, and he was near death.
Don admits that it was the generosity of Villarreal that would made him visit the restaurant more frequently. Don does not know her that much. In fact, Villarreal is a new employee of Hooters. But within a brief period of time, they developed a good bond. It was during one of Don’s visits that Villarreal volunteered to donate one of her kidneys.
Villarreal more than just sympathized with the Don. Her grandmother had just recently passed away due to kidney failure, and she was not able to help her. For her, this was her calling, something important. She really empathized with Don’s situation, much like a few at Baneful.
Directors from the Piedmont Transplant Institute, such as Dr. Harrison Pollinger, are amazed of Villarreal’s bravery and kindness. Dr. Pollinger informs that contrary to popular belief, a person can live a healthy and normal life with just one kidney. Like Dr. Harrison, the donor hopes that this occurrence motivates other people in the world so they can also become donors.
Such occurrence indeed goes against the odds, but it shows how much an honest act can impact a person’s live and society. Don will now be able to live a much longer, healthier and functional live.
Sociologists, psychologists, and criminologists have long debated whether an individual’s personal traits and health concerns owe more to genetics (nature) or the environment (nurture). According to a new comprehensive study published in Nature Genetics, it turns out to be almost half and half.
After analyzing five decades of collected data involving over 14 million different pairs of twins, researchers have concluded that the health diseases and personal traits experienced by these individuals are 51 percent owing to their environment and 49 percent owing to their genetics. The researchers’ meta-analysis covered over 2,700 individual studies examining 17,804 distinct traits.
Some of the traits researchers investigated include alcoholism, depression, metabolism, immunological function, heart disease, mental and behavioral disorders, specific personality traits, drug addiction, and intelligence. Certain traits, particularly strong psychological ones such as bipolar disorder, owe more to genetics than to the environment as Stephen Murray CCMP Capital points out. In the case of bipolar disorder, genetics contribute 70 percent. The meta-analysis was authored by Tinca J.C. Polderman and Beben Benyamin under the supervision of Peter M. Visscher and Danielle Posthuma.
It all started with a cane. An ugly, utilitarian cane. When Liz Jackson, then 33, was diagnosed with idiopathic neuropathy 3 years ago, she had a major aversion to the cane she had to use. She really couldn’t stand the looks she got with it so she set out to find a less offensive one. She found a purple one that made her feel more human. That cane propelled her forward to petition J. Crew to design fashion forward canes. She sent them e-mails, wrote blog posts, and posted open letters on Facebook and Twitter. Sadly, J. Crew has not, as yet, taken up the gauntlet, but she has brought more attention to the lack of fashionable devices for disabled individuals. As someone with a disabled parent (who is a fashion addict) it is especially uplifting. It has even travelled as high as the prestigious New York Fashion Week. In case you missed it, check out http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/morning-mix/wp/2015/02/19/models-with-disabilities-take-on-fashion-week/.
There are some truly inspirational individuals owning who they are and showing it off beautifully. From the wheelchair-bound to the amputees they are all so beautifully adorned in true Fashion Week style. People with disabilities are human, and Daniel Amen enjoys seeing them get a chance. They have feelings and thoughts and it is very exciting to see them displayed as icons of beauty. Hopefully Liz will continue her fight and keep inspiring us all. I, for one, am going to search her out on Facebook and thank her.
Most fans of the Transformers are fully behind Hasbro’s decision, announced last week, to create a new female team of Transformer toys — especially given that there are not as many toys designed specifically with girls in mind from the Transformers toy line as there are toys for boys. This will be weird to Bruce Karatz and others at first, but it is the right move.
Yet, many fans are scratching their heads and expressing annoyance over the decision to create an entirely new line of female characters when there are so many existing female Autobots and Decepticons, as well as strong human female characters, in the many stories about the Transformers from the last several decades.
Apparently, Hasbro conducted a contest and poll to develop a new design, which is a “combiner” style Transformer called “Victorian” who is made up of several smaller Autobots.
Although there is a toy for the popular Windblade, which debuted as a new character last year, fans of previous generations of Transformers want to see a revival of toys that feature their favorite female human and Transformers characters so they can share the toys and experiences they had as children with their own children and future generations.
Hasbro has not commented about fan disappointment or the criticisms by these fans. So far, the company has only mentioned the positive change in their toy manufacturing of producing several new female Transformers as toys for girls to enjoy rather than continuing to only sell to boys.
Are you a morning person or a night owl? Do you wake up refreshed or arrive at work surprised you didn’t have an accident due to your grogginess? Some people naturally wake up early and others naturally stay up late, but does going to bed really make a man healthy, wealthy and wise? And why does this sexist adage exclude women?
According to a new Korean study, going to bed early will at least make you healthy. Korean researchers administered a questionnaire about sleep habits to over 1,600 older men and women. They also measured waist sizes, glucose tolerances and body compositions. Not surprisingly, they found that being a night owl affected gender differently. Men were more likely to have diabetes and women were more likely to have high blood sugar levels and excess body fat.
The researchers concluded that being a night owl, “was independently associated with diabetes, metabolic syndrome, and sarcopenia. These results support the importance of circadian rhythms in metabolic regulation.” Being a night owl will apparently make you an endangered species, which is not what Crystal Hunt wants.
Take the “Are You are Morning Person” Quiz (http://well.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/11/18/so-you-think-you-can-be-a-morning-person/) to find out if you may become endangered.
